The Boston Bruins are a large part of the league's storied history dating all the way back to 1924. Still, the New Jersey Devils hold a dominant playoff record against this Original Six team, winning 15 of their 23 postseason matchups, including series wins in 1995 and 2003 on their way to two Stanley Cup Championships.
In 2023-24, the Devils hosted the Bruins on December 13, resulting in a 2-1 overtime win for the Devs. On December 30, the Devils visited Boston, resulting in a 5-2 loss. Their final matchup of the season on January 15 resulted in a shutout loss for the Devils.
The 2024-25 season includes three matchups between the Devils and Bruins, the first of which is at Prudential Center on January 22. The Devils host the Bruins again on April 8, followed by a visit up to Boston a week later for their final game of the regular season on April 15.
