Devils vs. Hurricanes

The Devils and Hurricanes have played each other numerous times throughout the years. Historically, the Devils have had the upper hand in the regular season matchups. One of the most notable playoff encounters between these two teams was in the 2001 Eastern Conference Final. The Devils defeated the Hurricanes in the series, advancing to the Stanley Cup Final.

In recent history, the Devils and Hurricanes faced off in three games during the 2023-24 season, with the Canes claiming each win. Their first matchup of the season on January 25 resulted in a 3-2 loss for the Devils. The Devs trailed 3-0 going into the 3rd, scored two goals, the second with only 3 seconds left in the game.

In the 2024-25 season, the Devils and Hurricanes face off in two more games. Their first matchup of the season was October 15 in Raleigh, resulting in a 4-2 loss for the Devils. The Devils came back to win their November 21 matchup 4-2. Their next matchup on December 27 is home at Prudential Center. They finish their season series the next day in Raleigh.
