The brand new Utah Hockey Club joined the NHL for the 2024-25 season, playing out of Salt Lake City. The team is backed by Clayton Keller on offense and Mikhail Sergachev on defense.
The Devils and Utah faced off in two games during the '24-25 season, with the Devils taking the victory in both matchups. On October 14, the Devils hosted Utah in a 3-0 shut out. Their second and final matchup of the season on March 1 was another Devils victory over Utah, defeating the club 3-1.
