Ten venues make list created in collaboration with Sports Innovation Lab
NEW YORK – Front Office Sports (FOS), the leading multi-platform media and news organization covering the business of sports, announced today Prudential Center as one of the ten winners of its inaugural Best Venues Award. This list was created in collaboration with Sports Innovation Lab to rank venues home to either professional, collegiate, or minor league sports.
Venues across the industry submitted applications and responded to questions about their technologies, mobile app features, food options/dietary inclusivity, transportation offerings, mixed-use functionality, and overall venue design, and the responses were scored accordingly. The venues with the best fan experience were selected following this competitive process.
Prudential Center, home of the NHL’s New Jersey Devils and Seton Hall University's NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball team, was selected for its notable renovations and enhancements to the arena during the last couple of years. Newly opened premium spaces and offerings, welcoming Levy Restaurants as a new hospitality partner to elevate the food and beverage experience, and a variety of technological upgrades to support a cashless and touchless purchasing process highlight Prudential Center’s dedication to the fan experience as a world-class venue.
“It is an honor to stand as one of winners of this accomplished list for Front Office Sports’ inaugural Best Venues Award,” said Jake Reynolds, President, New Jersey Devils & Prudential Center. “Prudential Center prides itself on its commitment to the fan experience and making this venue a marquee destination in New Jersey. We are continuously rolling out upgrades to ensure we provide our fans with the best experience, world-class service and something new to anticipate with each visit here.”
“In a landscape where innovation and fan experience reign supreme, these venues’ commitment to their guests through investing in cutting-edge venue technology and fan experience has propelled them into our top ten list,” said Adam White, CEO and Founder of Front Office Sports. “Each venue recognized showcases a dedication to enhancing the spectator experience and elevating the standard for sports venues.”
“Front Office Sports’ Best Venue Winners award removes subjectivity from ranking the best places to catch a game,” said Josh Walker, CEO and Co-Founder of Sports Innovation Lab. “This definitive list is derived from our proprietary methodology that scores and ranks venues based on factors identified by some of the leading experts in the industry. As teams look to evolve their in-game experience to drive attendance, they can look to the venues on this list for ways to cater to the future fan.”
