In the 2023-24 season, the Devils hosted the reigning Stanley Cup Champion Golden Knights on January 22, winning in overtime. Their final matchup of the regular season was March 17 in Vegas, resulting in a 3-1 Golden Knights win.
The Devils and Golden Knights faced off twice during the 2024-25 NHL season. Their first matchup of the season was at home in Prudential Center on February 6, falling 3-1 to the Golden Knights. The Devils took on the Knights in Vegas on March 2, coming up short again in a 2-0 game.
The 2025-26 season included two matchups between the Devils and Golden Knights. The Devils fell to Vegas on December 5 in a 3-0 shutout, but rallied back on December 17, taking a shootout victory over the Golden Knights.
